The installer comes as a single, compressed, self-extracting shell script file from which the component rpm files can be extracted, without triggering the inbuilt shell script installer.
# sh install-workstation-ami20YY-RR-NN-glibcGGG.sh --target <destination directory> --nochown --noexecwhere <destination directory> is an absolute directory that will be created if it does not exist, 20YY refers to the release year, RR is the sub-release, NN is an Autodesk version number, and GGG is the glibc version required to run the software.
Once this command is executed, the destination folder will contain files with the suffix rpm, such as those below, and some additional shell script install files. The rpm files may include version and release information in their names.
