This dialog is used to create a personal, customizable databases, to give you easy access to the particular materials, machines, process conditions, and properties you typically use.
To access this dialog, click

For example, you can develop a personal database of the thermoplastic materials you typically use, by copying any of the thousands from the Autodesk Moldflow database. Optionally, you can modify data. For example, in a machine database, you might change the maximum machine hydraulic pressure for an injection molding machine to match the machine you use on your shop floor.

Name | Specifies the name of the new database. |
Browse | Allows you to select the folder in which the new database will be stored. |
Category | Your new database will include data of only one property type. A property type is a subset of a category.
To make it easier to select a particular property type, select the Category first. Or, if you want to select a property type from the entire list, choose All from the Category choices. |
Property type | Your database can only include data of one property type. The list of materials available for inclusion in your database is narrowed, depending on the property type you choose. |
