Fiber mat composite (3D) - Mechanical Properties of composite tab

The Description tab of the Fiber mat composite (3D) dialog is used to specify the properties of the fiber mat composite.

To access this dialog, select the preform elements on your model, click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Edit), or right-click and select Properties, then select the Composite Properties tab. Select the fiber mat composite material you want to review or edit, click Edit, then select the Mechanical Properties of composite tab.

Mechanical properties of composite	Select where the software finds the mechanical properties of the composite. This data is required by the warp analysis in RTM Calculate fiber mat composite (3D) This is the default setting. With this option, the software calculates the information it needs for the composite, from the properties of the resin and the preform you selected. Specified If you have data specific to your fiber mat composite material, select Specified, then click Edit values to check the values, or to edit them.
