Use the Align Nodes command to reposition nodes to lie on a straight line. Select the two nodes that define the straight line (alignment edge), and then select the nodes to move.

Dialog element | Explanation |

Alignment node 1 | Click on a node in the graphics window to display its number in the input box. This node represents the start of the alignment line. |
Alignment node 2 | Click on a node in the graphics window to display its number in the input box. This node represents the end of the alignment line. |
Nodes to move | Identifies the nodes to align on the line you established in the two Alignment Node boxes. Click on one or more nodes (use the Ctrl key down to select multiple nodes), then click Apply. |
Automatic apply when selection complete | If you check this option, the change happens as soon as you specify all the inputs.
