Part (3D) dialog-Surface tension properties

The Surface tension properties tab of this dialog is used to specify the surface tension of the part material being injected.

To access this dialog, select the tetrahedral elements in a 3D mesh, click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Edit), or right-click and select Properties from the context menu, then select the Surface tension properties tab.

Note: The Surface tension properties tab is only available when the Underfill Encapsulation process has been selected.

You can choose to use data from the materials database, if your material is in the database, or you can specify your own values.

The collection of property values defined by the dialog are saved to a property set with the description shown in the Name box. In addition, you may be given the option to also apply the property values to related entities in the model.

Surface tension properties	Specifies the surface tension properties to be used in the analysis. The available options are: Use values in material properties Select this option if your material is in the database and the surface tension data has been input. Specified Use this option if you would like to enter accurate data of your own.
