Mesh Tools-Delete Entities tool

Ensure that the nodes in the part are visible and selectable by activating the required layers in the Layers pane.

Tip: If you manually enter the entity to delete, you must also enter the entity ID. For example, if you want to delete node 400, enter N400 into the box and click Apply.
Note: Body faces or bodies of a CAD assembly cannot be deleted independently.
Dialog element Explanation
Entities to delete Select the entities you want to delete with the mouse cursor, and then click Apply. You can select mesh elements, surfaces, regions, etc. as long as they are on visible layers. To ensure you don't accidentally select entities, hide the layers that contain those entities.
Important: If you delete a section of a 3D mesh, you may not be able to remesh.
Create as This section is disabled for this dialog
Filter Use the filter to select a desired model or mesh entity. When you use a filter, the pointer snaps to the specified entity.
