Fix the Aspect Ratio to reduce the aspect ratio of all elements to the target, primarily by swapping triangle edges.
To access this dialog click
(), then click
Next until you reach the
Aspect Ratio page.
This diagnostic is supported for the following mesh types:
Dual Domain
Midplane
| Dialog element | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Target | Enter the maximum value you think is acceptable for the aspect ratio. The wizard tries to fix the aspect ratios so that they fall below this value. |
| Show diagnostics | Select this option to see the aspect ratio of all triangles in the mesh. Rotate the model to find elements with different aspect ratios, colored according to the color scale. |
| Fix | Fixes the aspect ratios automatically, if possible. |
| Close | Closes the Mesh Repair Wizard without making any changes. |
| Finish | Fixes all the errors and summarizes the changes in the summary page. Click Close to close the dialog, with all the changes saved. |
