Match Nodes tool dialog

Use Match Nodes to project nodes from one surface of a Dual Domain mesh into the selected triangles on the other surface, to re-establish a good mesh match after manually fixing the mesh.

To use this tool, click Match Nodes (Mesh tab > Mesh Edit panel > Match Nodes).

Note: Ensure that the nodes in the part are visible and selectable by activating the required layers in the Layers pane.
Dialog element Explanation
Select nodes to project into mesh Select the node(s) that you want to project from one surface of a Dual Domain mesh into the other surface.
Select triangles for nodes to project to Select the triangles on the model that you want the selected nodes projected into.
Put new nodes into layer Select this check box if you want the new nodes to be placed into a new layer, and then type the layer name into the box provided. After you click Apply, the new layer is added to the Layer pane.
Create as This section is disabled for this dialog.
Filter Use the filter to select a particular model or mesh entity. When you use a filter, the pointer snaps to the specified entity.
