To view Mesh Statistics

  1. Click Mesh Statistics (Mesh tab > Mesh Diagnostics panel > Mesh Statistics).
  2. In the Input parameters section, select the Element type for which you want to see the mesh statistics summary.
  3. In the Options area, select options that affect the content and display of the mesh statistics summary.
  4. Click Show to display the mesh statistics. The mesh statistics summary is located at the bottom of the dialog.
  5. Click the Expand icon to view the mesh statistics in a larger window.
  6. When you have finished reviewing the mesh statistics summary for each element type, click Close to exit the Mesh Statistics tool.
For any problems indicated by this mesh statistics summary, use the tools found on the Mesh Diagnostics panel and Mesh Edit panel (Mesh tab) to display diagnostic details and fix defects.
Note: The Show button is used with the Mesh Diagnostic tools to activate the Diagnostic Navigator.
