To access this dialog:
- Ensure that the properties of your 3D channel body are set to Channel (3D).
- Choose an Analysis Sequence that includes Cool(FEM).
- Assign
Channel (3D) Inlets and
Channel (3D) Outlets (
(). There should be an equal number of conformal cooling inlets and outlets.
| Dialog element | Explanation |

| Max edge length for 3D channels | The maximum edge length of elements. The default value is 10 mm. To get a smoother mesh, lower this value or apply a resolution factor. |
| Resolution factor | A factor applied when generating the edge length. The default value of this factor is 1. Mesh a first time and, if required, apply a different resolution factor to modify the edge length. |
| Fluid gap elements | Define the minimum number of layers for thin regions, where Enhancement layers do not apply. |
| Enhancement layers | Define the minimum number of layers between the normal or inside layers and the surface. |
Note: Local mesh density defined on 3D channels does not apply.
