To change properties

Sometimes, the property type of an element must be changed, to analyze different molding setups, or to model different designs. For example, you can change cold runners into hot runners.

1. Select the elements you want to change.
2. Click (Geometry tab > Properties panel > Change).
3. Select the new property type from the list provided. The list will change depending on whether you have a Midplane, Dual Domain or 3D mesh.

   

4. Click OK to apply the new property.
