In the mesh orientation diagnostic display, elements are displayed either in blue (top) or red (bottom) depending on the element normal direction obtained when applying the right-hand rule to the node sequence defining the element. The requirements for correct orientation of the mesh depend on the type of mesh, Midplane or Dual Domain, and the aspect of the model, for example, part elements, insert elements.
In the Options section, select how you would like to view the results of the diagnostic.
