Highlighting layers

Highlighting a layer to show where a component resides

1. If the tool is off, click Highlight.
2. In the Model View pane, select a model component.

In the Layers pane, a red box displays around the name of a layer where this component resides.

Highlighting layer components on the model

1. If the tool is off, click Highlight.
2. In the Layers pane, hover over a layer.

In the Model View pane, components residing in the layer are highlighted.

Tip: To change the highlight color, click (Tools tab > Options panel > Application Options, and Select the Background and Colors tab. Next, click Select associated with the Highlight color to open the color palette.
