Digital prototypes of your model can be exported, for photo-realistic rendering in 3rd party software.
(), and in the
Default Display tab of the
Options dialog, ensure that the
Surface/CAD Face option is set to
Solid or
Transparent.
Select the entities you would like to export. You can select part surface only, or you can include sink marks and/or warpage. Assign a scale factor and units, then browse to the location in which you would like to save the file and assign a unique name.

| File name | This is the unique name and file path that you have given your export file. |
| Browse | Click this button to locate a folder in which to save your file for export. |
| Geometry | Select the modeling entities that you would like to include in your export. |
| Mesh | Select the mesh entities, associated with the model entities, that you would like to export for defect visualization. |
| Include | You can include Sinkmark and Warpage data in your export. |
| Sinkmark | Select this option if you would like to export these defects for photorealistic rendering. |
| Warpage | Select this option if you would like to export these warpage defects for photorealistic rendering. |
| Scale factor | Specify the factor by which to enlarge or reduce the selected entities. |
| Unit | Specifies the units that are used to display the model.
You can select either of the following units to display and work with your model:
