Translate is used with either a Local Coordinate System (LCS), or Global Coordinate System (GCS) to translate the deflection results in a negative/positive direction..
To use translate, a deflection plot must be displayed. Click
(tab) to work with the translate tool.
Dialog elements
| Displacements | Enter a numerical amount of measurement, to translate the deflection results in a negative/positive direction. |
| Coordinate system | Select either
Local Coordinate System or
Global Coordinate System to translate/rotate the deflection results in a negative/positive direction.
Note: Local Coordinate System will only be available if you have previously defined one.

| Apply on [drop-down] | Select whether you want the settings above to be applied to the current deflection plot only, all deflection plots for the current study, or all deflection plots for all currently open studies. |
| Apply | Click Apply to make activate on your model the changes you want to exercise. |
