To shade the part according to angle from platform

1. Choose the Net Shape, Subtractive, or Additive mode.
2. On the Main toolbar, click Orient.
3. Select a part.
4. In the Orient panel, click Analysis Angles.
5. Use the Analysis Angles tool:
   • Requires fixtures angle:
     • Red — Enter a value to specify a range for the fixtures angle. Surfaces below this value are shaded red by Analysis shading.
     • Orange — Enter a value for the self-supporting angle. Surfaces between the red and orange values are shaded orange by Analysis shading.
   • Surface quality angle — Enter a value for the surface quality angle. Adding fixtures to this area is not necessary but helps improve the quality of the surface.
   • Near vertical angle — Enter a value to specify a range from the vertical plane. Surfaces between this angle and 90 degrees are shaded blue by Analysis shading.
