Introduction to using the FFF workspace
Once you have loaded an FFF machine workspace and placed one or more parts on it, follow these steps to generate the toolpath file:
Print settings are stored as material solutions. Branded machine workspaces bring some default solutions with them. You can use these right away, but you can also modify them, or define you own ones entirely. You can save your modified or created material solutions as your own for later use.
If you require, you can make changes to individual settings, but bear in mind that these changes are not saved automatically for later use. To save them for later use, click Add Custom Profile in the Print Settings dialog.
You can also assign a different material solution to each part one by selecting the part and then choosing the desired material solution from the dropdown menu.
If you require, you can switch on Print Parts Sequentially. (If there is only one part on the platform, or if the part has Support Generation enabled, this option is disabled.)
If your print requires support structures, enable Support Generation. The simplest way to have support structures generated is to set this to Auto.
You can also edit the estimated volume support. For this, set Support Generation to Manual and click Edit Supports.
Once you're happy with the settings you have made so far, click Generate Toolpaths. This produces the toolpaths and also a visual representation of them.
To leave toolpath preview and adjust more settings, click Exit.
The option to export the file is available from within the Preview. To accept the settings and the preview, click Export and provide a file name.
