When navigating views in a model or family, you can use the mouse, keyboard shortcuts, and various tools, such as the navigation bar, the ViewCube® and Autodesk® SteeringWheels®.

About Reorienting the Current View
Use ViewCube to reorient the current view of a model. Click pre-defined areas to set a preset view as current, click and drag to change the view angle of the model, and define and restore the Home view.
Zoom the View
Use the Zoom tool to change the viewable area in the window, and the Thin Lines tool to maintain the true thickness of lines relative to the zoom of the view.
Orient a 3D View
Using the ViewCube, you can orient a 3D view to any plan, elevation, section or 3D view in the model.
