Autodesk® CFD 2019 Notes
To learn more about all the new Autodesk® CFD 2019 functionality, please consult the
What's New section in the Help. You can access it by clicking
What's New from the Autodesk® CFD
Start & Learn tab.
Additional notes:
- Be sure to update the NLM on the license server to the version that comes with Autodesk® CFD 2019. Older versions of the NLM software will not work with Autodesk® CFD 2019.
- If using an IP address instead of the machine name, a host file will be required to map the IP address to the computer name.
- The Manage License option found in the Infocenter login menu is not fully enabled for managing all aspects of the Autodesk® CFD license. To manage solver licenses, as well as to borrow and return licenses, click
Licensing on the
Start & Learn ribbon tab.
- The Scalable Solver is not available when the User Interface language is set to any of the supported Unicode languages. The workaround for running the Scalable Solver is to change the User Interface to English.
- The motion of solid parts computed with the Motion feature cannot currently be animated. To enable animation, it is necessary to disable graphics optimization. To do this, change the value of the flag "use_optimized_model" to 0 using the
Flag Manager.
