To Define the International Calculation Standard

Note: This topic is for Roombook users only.

The International standard calculates the real quantities. No special calculation rules are applied, as for example stipulated by the German VOB Standard.

1. Click Vision Tools tab Roombook panel Calculation Settings.

   The current standard is displayed.

2. Make sure that the calculation standard "International Standard" is set current.
   
3. If needed, click Change to switch the standard.
4. Define the settings and click OK.

   The calculation standard is changed.

5. Click Vision Tools tab Roombook panel Calculate Room Quantities to start the calculation process with the new settings.

Note: If possible, you should not change the calculation standard within a drawing - unless you are aware that any manual changes will be lost.

International Standard

The International Standard calculates the real quantities.

Sub areas

Optionally, some objects can be considered or not as sub areas (Yes/No toggle):

• Consider interferences as sub areas
• Consider body modifiers as sub areas

Those objects can optionally be listed and calculated as sub areas.
