To run the Autodesk Batch Save Utility
- On the Windows® Start menu, expand the
Autodesk Civil 3D
2020 folder and click Autodesk Batch Save Utility.
Note:
The first time you save to versions 2014 and 2015, run the Autodesk Batch Save Utility as an administrator. Right-click Autodesk Batch Save Utility and click Run as Administrator or More
Run as Administrator (depending on the operating system version). For subsequent saves to versions 2014 and 2015, and for saving to other versions, you can run the application without administrator privileges.
Note: When saving to versions 2014-2017, the Autodesk Batch Save Utility will check whether the target version of Civil 3D is upgraded to the latest service pack. If not, the Autodesk Batch Save Utility will prompt you to install the latest service pack before continuing.
- In the
Autodesk Batch Save Utility dialog box, configure settings and start the batch save process.
To run the Autodesk Batch Save Utility automatically
You can set up a task using the Windows® Task Scheduler so that the Autodesk Batch Save Utility runs automatically.
- Open the Autodesk Batch Save Utility. Specify the settings you want to use and then close the utility.
- Start the Task Scheduler. In the Windows Control Panel, click System and Security. Under Administrative Tools, click Schedule Task.
