To Tap the Four Holes

Finish all machining operations by tapping the four holes.

1. On the ribbon, click CAM tab Drilling panel Drill .

Tool tab

1. Click the button to open the Tool Library.
2. From the CAM Mania Tutorial library, select #5 Ø0.138 x 0.03125" 0° right tap.
3. Click to close the Tool Library dialog.

Geometry tab

1. On the Geometry tab, click the Hole faces button and select the face of one of the threaded holes.
   
   
   
   
2. Enable the Select same diameter check box. The other three remaining holes are automatically selected.

Cycle tab

1. Click the Cycle tab. 
2. Select Right tapping from the Cycle type: drop-down menu.

Start the Calculation

1. Click the button, or right-click in the graphics window and select OK from the marking menu, to exit Drill and create the toolpath.
