Install Mudbox on Windows OS

The default installation path for the Mudbox 2020 software product on a Windows OS is: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Mudbox 2020.

Important: If you install Mudbox to a custom location, ensure that the path does not include any Chinese or Japanese double‐byte characters.

The installation process for Mudbox software on a Windows OS is identical to the process for installing other Autodesk products on Windows. See the following pages for additional information:

Depending on your licence type, you may need to enter some data during the installation process, such as an Autodesk ID, or a Serial Number and Product Key. Be sure to have this information on hand before you start.

To install Mudbox in a French, German, or Japanese environment, follow the instructions in the installer.
