Note: You can install Product Design Suite and Factory Design Suite on the same computer. If you install the Factory Design Suite on a computer that has the Product Design Suite, the Factory Design Utilities are added to the existing Inventor installation.

It is recommend you follow these guidelines:

• Both Suites have the same license type (both network or both standalone).
• The Suites are the same Edition (Premium, or Ultimate). If they are not, the highest level Suite must be installed first. For example, if you have the Factory Design Suite Premium Edition and the Product Design Suite Ultimate Edition, install Product Design Suite before installing Factory Design Suite.
