To Customize Frame Generator File Names and Folder Structure

Use the Frame Generator File Naming Defaults to customize the frame member file names and folder location.

Note: If a warning icon is displayed next to the value box, check the message tooltip and your naming scheme for potential issues. For example, using an index number instead of a unique number can result in duplicate file names.

The numbers displayed in the preview above the value boxes are examples and not the actual numbers.

• To customize Frame Assembly and Skeleton Part naming scheme: Click in the value box to specify the attribute placement in the name, and then click the Add Attribute drop-list and select one or more of the following:
  • Assembly Name
  • Unique Number
  • Index Number : You can specify the start Index Number
  • Click Reset to restore the defaults to the value box
• To customize End Cap naming scheme: Click in the value box to specify the attribute placement in the name, and then click the Add Attribute drop-list and select one or more of the following:
  • Assembly Name
  • Unique Number
  • Index Number: You can specify the start Index Number
  • Content Center Property
  • Family Name
  • File Name
  • Material
  • Part Number
  • Size Designation
  • Click Reset to restore the defaults to the value box
• To customize Frame Member naming scheme: Click in the value box to specify the attribute placement in the name, and then click the Add Attribute drop-list and select one or more of the following:
  • Assembly Name
  • Unique Number
  • Index Number: You can specify the start Index Number
  • Content Center Property
  • Family Description
  • Family Name
  • File Name
  • Manufacturer
  • Material
  • Part Number
  • Standard
  • Standard Organization
  • Stock Number
  • Click Reset to restore the defaults to the value box

  If desired, enable Overwrite current file for size change. This option minimizes the number of generated files.

• To customize Location: Click the location in the value box, and then type the desired folder names. If required, click the Add Attribute drop-list to insert the Assembly Name or use Reset.

To change the default decimal marker select a decimal marker from the Unit Decimal Marker drop-list.
