- Prepare for installation:
- Follow the guidelines in About Installation Prerequisites.
- Apply relevant service packs to the operating system.
- Disable anti-virus software.
- Start the Inventor installation program.

- Configure the Inventor stand-alone options. On the Install
Configure Installation page, click the
Expand to open and configure arrow to access the sub-components and the Content Center Libraries.
Autodesk Inventor sub-components
The sub-components are installed by default. You must deselect the checkbox to not install a sub-component:
- Revit Interoperability for Inventor: Installs the Revit interoperability functionality.
- Autodesk DWG TrueView: Installs a DWG viewer.
- Autodesk Inventor Electrical Catalog Browser: Installs a sample of the AutoCAD Electrical database.
Autodesk Inventor Content Center Libraries
Installs Autodesk Inventor Content Center Libraries directly on your local computer as Desktop content.
