Open a file in FCheck

Important: As of Maya 2020, FCheck is no longer supported on macOS. You can select a different default image viewer in the Applications preferences (Windows > Settings/Preferences > Preferences).

To open a file in FCheck on Windows

1. Start FCheck.

   For more information, see To start FCheck on Windows.

2. In the Playback window, choose either File > Open Image or File > Open Animation.

   A file browser appears.

3. In the file browser, select an image or the first frame of the animation sequence you want to view and click Open.

   The image or animation appears in the FCheck Playback window.

4. Manipulate the image or sequence using keyboard commands.

   Tip: You can also open a file in Windows using the command line. Follow the steps in Opening an animation using the -n option, for more details.

You can display your image at full screen size by choosing View > Full Screen.
