Specify which detected clusters should be included or excluded when generating support, and also adjust their size
Editing FFF supports utilizes some features of the support module. It creates placeholder support entities that can be deleted selectively to prevent the FFF workspace from applying supports at those clusters. You may also modifiy them.
These steps presume that you have loaded an FFF machine workspace, and that you have loaded a part into it.
- Select the part on the machine workspace platform.
- In the context view with the machine workspace control elements loaded, click
Edit Supports.
Tip: If available, you may alternatively choose
Generate Support from the toolbar or the
Prepare menu.
- In the context view, click Run Support Script.
- From the appearing dialog, pick FFF Support Parameters and click Execute.
- Select and delete support entities in those places where support is not desired, or modify the expansion of the support by clicking and dragging the blue spherical support anchors.
- In the context view, click Accept.
You can now proceed with examining the results, and creating the print data, by clicking Print Preview.
