When working with a part model, the Hide/Display Body option allows the display of the geometry of the part to be toggled ON or OFF.
Before Toggle: Geometry can be selected
After Toggle: Geometry cannot be selected
Likewise, when working with assembly models, the Hide all Bodies or Display all Bodies option can be used.
