STL Exporter User Interface

Use the Export STL dialog to specify export options.

Use the following export options to customize your STL file.

General tab

• STL Format. Specifies the STL file as Binary or ASCII.
• Include Linked Models. Specifies the STL file to contain the linked files from the Revit model.
  Note: All linked models must use the same Project Position as the host model.
• Export Color. Specifies the STL file to maintain the colors of the Revit model.
• Export in Shared Coordinates. Specifies the STL file to maintain shared coordinates from the Revit model.
• Units. Specifies the units for the STL file.

Categories tab

On the categories tab, select which element categories will export to the STL file.

• Check All. Selects every category listed.
• Check None. Deselects every category listed.
