Workgroup replication must be enabled to create a connected workgroup environment. Enable workgroup replication from the publisher site before installing the subscriber sites.
- Use Windows Explore to create a network shared folder.
- In the navigation pane, select Workgroups.
- Right-click and select Enabled Workgroup Replication.
- Enter the path to the network shared folder.
- Enter the user account setup to run replication. This account should have access to the network shared folder.
- Enter and confirm the password for the replication account.
