We have designed Autodesk Vehicle Tracking to support and interact appropriately with many of the features of the host CAD system. However, there are a few recommended dos and don'ts that you should bear in mind.
MicroStation version
- Do not save only exploded Vehicle Tracking paths if you are likely to need to edit them in the future.
- Do not unlock or edit the Vehicle Tracking cells using other than Vehicle Tracking. Each Vehicle Tracking path is held in one or more specially named locked cells (belonging to the same graphic group) to prevent it being manipulated such that the results are inconsistent with the vehicle's capabilities. Unlocking or editing cells will have unpredictable results.
- Do not try to edit Vehicle Tracking data in reference drawings; Vehicle Tracking can only access data in the master drawing.
