AutoCAD 2018, AutoCAD 2019, AutoCAD 2020, and AutoCAD 2021-based products use a different drawing format than AutoCAD 2017-based products and earlier. When sharing drawing files with users on AutoCAD 2017-based products or earlier, you will need to save your drawings to the appropriate drawing file format using the SAVEAS command or another method.
