To Import a STEP File in AutoCAD Mechanical Toolset

AutoCAD Mechanical toolset supports a dedicated command to translate STEP files into the DWG format.

1. Click Insert tabImport panelSTEP. Find
2. Find and select the STEP file you want to import, or enter the name of the STEP file at File Name.
3. Click Open.
