The AMNOTE command is enhanced to display a contextual ribbon instead of the Note Symbol dialog box.
The contextual ribbon tab displays as soon as you pick points for the vertexes of the leader. An in-place editor lets you specify the note text just like how you specify text with the MTEXT command. All the functionality that was available with the Note Symbol dialog box is available with the new contextual tab. If you prefer to continue using the Note Symbol dialog box you can turn off the contextual tab by setting the AMNOTETAB system variable to 0.
