About Process Analysis

Install Process Analysis from Inventor, AutoCAD, or the web.

Process Analysis software is part of the Autodesk digital prototyping solution. This web-based product helps engineers and system designers model, study, and optimize manufacturing processes. With Process Analysis, you can identify bottlenecks in your processes, from planning through layout, and increase your efficiency. Use this tool to process models almost anytime, anywhere, from your web-enabled device.

Because Process Analysis is a web-based application it requires an Internet connection. You also need an Autodesk 360 account to log in and store your files in the cloud.

To launch Process Analysis from AutoCAD:

In AutoCAD Factory, select the Factory tab > Tools panel > Create New Process Model.

To launch Process Analysis from Inventor:

In Inventor Factory, select the Factory tab > Tools panel > Create New Process Model.

Install Process Analysis from the web

Process Analysis is part of your subscription to the Product Design and Manufacturing collection. You need to create an Autodesk account to install and use Process Analysis.

  1. Download Process Analysis for Windows® 64-bit here.
  2. Open the downloaded package and follow the instructions.
  3. When the installation finishes, open Process Analysis.
