- Mold temperature
- Specifies the temperature of the mold at the part-mold interface.
- Melt temperature
- Specifies the temperature of the molten plastic as it flows into the cavity or the runner system. Typically, it is the same as the temperature at the nozzle.
- Default
- Resets the mold or melt temperature to the recommended value for the material.
- Maximum injection pressure limit

- Maximum machine injection pressure
- Sets the maximum injection pressure limit for the machine.
- Automatic velocity/pressure switch-over
- Allows the software to determine, automatically, the optimum time to switch from velocity to pressure control. The transition point selected to ensure that if the ram stops suddenly, there is only enough melt decompression to fill the cavity.
- Velocity/pressure switch-over by volume %
- Specifies the time when control is changed from ram control to pressure control, as a percentage of the volume filled. The switch-over point is generally when approximately 99% of the volume is filled, but can be earlier due to a short shot or material compressibility. Disabled if Automatic velocity/pressure switch-over is selected.
- Machine injection time

- Automatic injection time
- Automatically calculates the injection time that gives the lowest injection pressure.
- Time (sec)
- Used to specify the injection time. Disabled if Auto injection time is selected.
- Machine clamp open time

- Time (sec)
- Used to specify the machine clamp open time. This time is included in the calculation of the estimated cycle time, in the results.

- Sets the options for a virtual sprue.
- Virtual Sprue Settings
- Select to enable.
- Position
Point Selects the runner sketch geometry, sketch point, or end point. Ratio Adjusts the position of the virtual sprue along the runner sketch geometry. Not available if you select a point or end point.
- Profile
- Sets the virtual sprue width, height, and angle.
