Publishing is faster if you turn off background publishing. Settings you change in this dialog box remain in effect for all new drawings until you change the settings again.

To set background publishing options
- Click
Options. - Click the Plot And Publish tab.
- Under Background Processing Options, clear the Publishing check box for Enable Background Plot When.
- Click OK.
