Automatically determining process parameters (PartMaker)

When you have created groups of part features, you can generate a Process Table (using Job Optimizer > Generate Process Table) to view the processes required to machine the part.

As it generates the Process Table, PartMaker creates all of the machining processes required for the part and determines all the process parameters (such as the canned cycle, coolant type, tool information, feed rate, dwell, and tool change points) required.

To change the process parameters for a process in the Process Table:

1. Display the Process Parameters dialog by:
   • clicking a process in the Process Table to select it and then selecting Job Optimizer > Process Parameters; or
   • double-clicking a process in the Process Table.
2. Change the settings in the Process Parameters dialog.
3. Click OK to confirm your changes and close the dialog.
