Chamfering with a center drill (PartMaker)

When using a center drill for chamfering, you must set up details of the chamfer using the Hole Group Parameters dialog.

PartMaker calculates the depth of the center drill using:

• The details of the chamfer that are specified in the Hole Group Parameters dialog; and
• The geometric parameters of the standard center drill tool that are specified in the Tools dialog.
