When using Full Machine Simulation in <PRODUCT>/Mill, <PRODUCT> mounts the tool to the holder and then mounts the holder into the tool head as follows:
Note: If you use solid models to represent parts of the milling machine, the models must meet the requirements listed in
Creating solid models for FMS in <PRODUCT>/Mill.
- The Holder is rotated so the Tool to Holder Attachment vector is along the negative Z axis:
- The Holder to Tool Head Attachment Point is positioned to the Tool Head's origin, then the Tool is positioned to the Tool to Holder Attachment Point:
- The final result is shown below:
