PartMaker provides several ways for you to optimize the NC program, including:
- For PartMaker/Mill and PartMaker/Turn, you can select the Reorder Processes to Minimize Tool Change Time on the Process Table Options dialog when you generate the Process Table. When this option is selected, PartMaker combines and reorders processes applied to different groups to minimize tool change time.
- For PartMaker/Mill, if you have a short program you may want to select the Subprograms Option Enabled option in the Post Options dialog, so PartMaker will generate both milling and drilling subprogram for CNC controls that support subprograms when you generate the NC Program using the Job Optimizer > Generate NC Program option.
