About BIM 360 Document Management

To use Cloud Models for Revit, you must subscribe to BIM 360 Document Management or be invited to a BIM 360 Document Management project.

A subscription to Revit Cloud Worksharing includes access to BIM 360 Document Management.

You can host cloud models on US or European data centers. See the section on Hosting Data on European Data Centers in Administrative FAQs.

BIM 360 Document Management associates people, projects, and data. A Autodesk Docs project is a unique location where a team keeps all related information in one shared place.

When you subscribe to Revit Cloud Worksharing, your organization gets an account for BIM 360 Document Management. BIM 360 Document Management has two levels of administration:

See About Account Administration.

Team members can see information for the projects for which they have access. They can share and access design data, discuss challenges and successes, and stay current with project activities.

When you upload a Revit model to BIM 360 Document Management, worksharing is enabled for the model, and it is added to the selected project in BIM 360 Document Management. The project administrator can then invite team members to participate, and team members can access the project and related content based on their permissions.
