The project information (location and building definition) allows you to obtain more accurate heating and cooling information for your model.
Define area and volume settings, building parameters, and building type settings.
If needed, modify the parameters for individual spaces in the model.
Use the System Browser to verify zones and spaces. All spaces should be assigned to a zone that you created. The default zone should be empty.
Launch the Heating and Cooling Loads dialog and examine the analytical model to check the boundaries for all the spaces in a 3D view. The analytical model can help you detect spaces that are not properly enclosed.
Modify boundaries and specifications for zones and spaces as needed.
The Heating and Cooling Loads analysis lets you determine heating and cooling requirements. You can adjust the model and rerun the analysis to determine the most efficient design.
