Check system requirements for the extension, download it, and run the installer.
- The extension installation requires a 64-bit version of Windows.
- Robot-AdvanceSteel Link is only compliant with Robot and Advance Steel versions that have the same release year.
- Robot-AdvanceSteel Link installation routine uses the Autodesk Setup installer.
Install
On Autodesk App Store, search for Robot-AdvanceSteel Link, download the appropriate installer, unzip, and run the .msi file to install the extension.
After the installation is complete, you may need to restart the Autodesk product to activate the extension.
To uninstall Robot-AdvanceSteel Link, exit the Autodesk product if you are running it:
- Rerun the
.msi file, and click the
Uninstall button.
Or
- Uninstall it from 'Control Panel\Programs\Programs and Features' (Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1) or Add/Remove Programs, just as you would uninstall any other application from your system.
Access
When successfully installed, you can access Robot-AdvanceSteel Link:
- From
Robot, by selecting
Add-Ins
Integration Autodesk Advance Steel
- From Advance Steel, by selecting Export & Import and clicking a transfer action: Advance Export, or Advance Import, or Advance Synchronization.
