Rigid element to spring element conversion option. When RIGIDELEM2ELAS is set to ON, rigid elements (RBE2) will be converted to the element type specified by the RIGIDELEMTYPE model parameter. The AUTO setting enables rigid element thermal expansion effects when a non-modal solution type is selected and a coefficient of thermal expansion is specified on a RBE2 Bulk Data entry.
