In the case of transversal bars, the shape of the stirrup or pin is selected by default. Similarly, the shape (ending) of the longitudinal bars is selected, differentiating between the main bars and the structural bars. It is possible to select a bar ending with a hook bent at any angle for each bar.
Hooks only when necessary refers to bars ending with hooks. If selected, bar endings adjust, depending on the current requirements concerning bar anchoring. For instance, after generation of reinforcement in the deep beam, a selected main bar No. 2.02 ending in two hooks may be replaced with a bar No. 1.02 (unilateral hook) or a simple bar.
Additionally, you can define the length of hooks or by correlating bar length with its diameter.
