On the Loads tab you define parameters of planar, linear, and nodal loads applied to a slab.
Planar loads
To define a planar load, do the following.
- Select a load type (nature): dead, live, snow.
- Enter a load value.
- Specify, whether the load should be uniform.
- If yes, then load of the constant value q acts on the whole slab.
- If not, then you can click Definition to define a contour on which the load is acting. You can also enter coordinates of points or define them graphically in a drawing.
If the Take self-weight into account option is selected, the weight of the slab is taken into account in calculations.
Linear loads
To define a linear load, do the following.
- Select a load type (nature): dead, live, snow.
- Specify the coordinates of the beginning and end of the linear load or define them graphically in a drawing.
- Enter a load value.
