Follow the steps below to create a new load case combination. 
- Click Loads 
 
 Manual combinations.  The Combinations dialog opens. Note: If this is your first manual combination, the Combination Definition/Modification dialog opens directly, and you can skip step 2 below. 
  
- Click New.  The Combination Definition/Modification dialog opens. 
Note: A Combination Number is automatically assigned to the new combination. You can edit the Combination Number box if you want to change this number. 
  
- Select a type of combination from the list. 
 
- Enter a name for the new combination. 
 
- Optionally, click Parameters to set up additional parameters for the combination such as the type of seismic combination or the nature of the combination. 
 
- Click OK.  The Combination Definition/Modification dialog closes, and the Combination description is updated in the Combinations dialog. 
 
- Click a case number to select a load case from the Case list.  An arrow appears before the selected case. 
Note: By default, an automatic factor is applied to the load case. 
  
- Optionally, update the Factor value for the selected case: 
- Enter a new value for the load nature in the Factor box. 
 
- Click Change.  The new factor value is saved. 
 
  
- Click > to add the selected load case to the List of cases in combination.  
 
- Repeat steps 7 to 9 for each load case that you want to add to your combination. 
 
- Click Apply.
