Run a Manual Steel Member Verification

1. Click Design Steel Members Design - Options Verification The Manual verification dialog displays.
2. Enter the member number in the Verification of member no. box.
3. Enter the values of the appropriate internal forces in the Internal forces in the analyzed section box. The corresponding units are displayed in the right, upper corner of the dialog.
4. Enter the values of the additional internal forces required for code calculations in the Internal forces in characteristic sections box.
5. In the Load type field, select a load type to be applied to the verified member in Y-axis or Z-axis direction. Once the icon is selected, a dialog for a load type definition is displayed.
6. Click the Options button to select the Calculation Options.
7. Click the Calculations button. The member is verified and the result is displayed.
